I recently saw an article in Discover magazine about what all the plastic is doing to our environment. I knew that the firm plastic used to hold bottles and cans together in 6 packs hurt animals in the ocean that got caught in the plastic. It wasn't until I saw the pictures in the Discover article that I understood what a problem all the plastic bags were.
